Would it be stupid to buy a new 2011 Ford F250 Diesel and use it for as my only car? Would it be stupid to buy a new 2011 Ford F250 Diesel and use it for as my only car? The other day a guy pulled out in front of me and t boned my car well just found out that my car is totaled and insurance company told me I have till Saturday at 12 noon to pick out another car. My totaled car was 2006 Pontiac G6 with 70,000 miles on it. there giving me 13,500 for my totaled car. I kind of want a truck so i was looking at new f150 with eco boost engine but then i got thinking in 5 years all have a truck with 70,000 miles on it. Thinking of getting a new 2011 F 250 diesel only because I know they can with stand high millage. I average about 14,000 miles a year 10,000 for work and 4,000 for other things. I was told the new power stroke diesel gets about 18/24. I was wondering if this was true. My uncle has a 98 f250 diesel with over 350,000 so I know what they can do. I found a 250 lariat blue for $44,885. Just looking for some input thanks car insurance. Auto parts : Suspension Hose Dodge 2005. Suspension Lift Component Box Eagle 2006. Sway Bar Bushing Ford 2007. Buick . How to Replace the Headlight of a 1996 YukonYour 1996 Yukon's headlights should be checked every six months to make sure that they are functioning normally. Of course, if the headlights burn out while you are diving at night, you'll know right away. The headlights on your Yukon typically fail from regular use, although if there is excessive moisture building up inside the headlight housing assembly, you'll want to consider replacing the assembly before replacing the headlight. Replacement headlights for the Yukon are available from most auto parts stores. However, because there are a variety of manufacturers that make replacement headlights for the Yukon, you'll need the part number from the old headlight as a reference for the new headlight. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Replacement headlight Step by Step : 1 Open the hood of your Yukon and unplug the power connector from the back of the headlight. 2 Rotate the collar of the headlight counter-clockwise 45 degrees and pull the headlight out of the housing assembly. 3 Insert the new headlight and rotate the collar of the headlight clockwise to lock it into the housing assembly. 4 Reconnect the power connector to the back of the headlight.
Buick . How to Replace a Headlight on a 1998 - 2001 Nissan Altimahttp://www.1aauto.com shows you how easy it is to replace your own headlight on a Nissan Altima and save money! This article will help you both change a headlight bulb and to change the entire assembly. You may want to change your entire headlight if it was damaged in an accident or if your headlights are pitted scratched cloudy or dull. New headlights can increase the brightness of your headlights and make your car look years and miles younger. Difficulty:Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Phillips Head Screwdriver Regular Screwdriver 10mm Socket 1/4 in. Drive Ratchet and Extension Step by Step : 1 Open hood. There is a screw located at the intersection of the headlight and the parking light. Remove this screw with a Phillips head screwdriver. 2 Once the screw is removed, place a screwdriver between the headlight and parking light and separate the ball and socket of the light. This basically separates the parking light from the headlight. 3 Pull the parking light off the car body. Twist the bulb out and the parking light is now free. 4 Remove two screws that connect the headlight to the car body. 5 Remove the two bolts in front of the battery on the driver's side. One bolt is a bit blocked; however you can reach it with a ratchet and 10mm extension. 6 Once the bolts are removed, pull the headlight away from the car body. 7 Reach in back of the headlight and unplug the bulb. Depress the tab with your thumb and pull the bulb out. 8 The headlight is now free. Compare the old headlight to the new, replacement headlight. Make sure all the mounting points are the same. 9 Prior to reversing the above process, you will most likely need to loosen up the grille a small bit. This is to allow the headlight to be properly placed back on the car. (When these cars came off the line, the headlights were already attached. The grille then clipped up onto the headlights.) Behind the grille, there is a washer and bolt. Loosen the bolt to allow for some play in the grille. Step by Step : 10 Place headlight back onto the car body. Push the bulb back into the light. Tighten bolt back up on the grille. Step by Step : 11 Place screws back into holes on the side of the car body and through light. Tighten screws. Tighten with a ratchet. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. Some of the parts are plastic and over tightening could cause the parts to break. Step by Step : 12 Thread two bolts located near the front of the battery on the driver's side. Tighten bolts. Step by Step : 13 Twist the bulb back into the parking light. Push parking light back into place on the car body. Line up the back part of the light with the fender and push it onto the ball. Push the ball and socket joint together. Step by Step : 14 Thread the screw into the top where the headlight and parking light intersect. Tighten screw. Step by Step : 15 Test your work. Test the headlights - low and high beams, parking light and signal. *If you get totally freaked out and decide to break a window, break the little vent window, if you have one. It's cheaper to replace, and sometimes the latch breaks before the glass does. If you have to break the glass, wrap something around your hand and use a stone or other heavy object. Keep your head away from flying glass, although most auto glass should be shatterproof. And don't break a window that will interfere with visibility while you're driving home to face the jeers of your family and friends. HovO to lake Anything Apart — and Get It Back Together Again I've never been able to follow the instructions to put my kids' toys together, but I can take a wheel assembly apart and get it back together again, slowly but accurately, by using the following procedure. The bonus is that this procedure works for anything that you need to take apart and put back together again — brakes, toasters, bicycles, and so on. 1. Get a clean, lint-free rag and lay it down on a flat surface, near enough to reach without having to get up or walk to it. As you remove each part, you're going to lay it on this rag. Consequently, the rag shouldn't be in an area where oil or dust or anything else can fall on it and foul the parts. If you're going to use something that blasts air for cleaning purposes, leave enough of the rag uncluttered to lap it over the parts resting on it. 2. Before you remove each part, stop and ask yourself the following questions, and if you're worried about forgetting, make notes: • What is this thing? 143

Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab. * How tightly is it screwed on (or fastened down)? 2$ Part I: Getting Started Most amateurs tend to put things back very tightly, in hopes that the part won't fly off. But some things, like bolts that hold gaskets in place, shouldn't be tightened too securely, because the gasket would be squeezed out of shape and whatever it's holding in would get out, or the bolt threads could be stripped. So try to remember (or make notes about) how hard each thing was to remove. The note needn't be long — just something like "Part #6: Hook at end of arm on left hooks on to knob to right of Part #7." Add a picture if it helps. 3. As you remove each part, lay it down on the rag in clockwise order, with each part pointing in the direction it lay when it was in place. This is the key to the whole system. When you're ready to reassemble things, the placement and direction of each part tells you when to put it back and how it went. 4. If you're making notes, assign each part a number indicating the order in which you removed it — Part #1, Part #2, and so on. If you work systematically and understand the function of each part, you won't be left with those "extra" nuts and bolts at the end of the job. You can even put numbers on the parts with masking tape if you're afraid that the rag may be moved accidentally. Buick . How do you change a front axle on a bruin 350 fourwheeler?

When you're ready to reassemble everything, begin with the last part you removed, and then go counterclockwise through the parts. Never, never do a job in a hurry. Allow yourself plenty of time. If things get rough, have a soft drink or a cup of coffee. You may get a whole new perspective when you go back to work. Turn on your answering machine or take the phone off the hook, keep the kids and the dog away, and relax. If you hit a snag, sit quietly and think about it — don't panic. If the parts fit together before, they'll fit together again. Chapter 2 The Way to Your Car's Heart Is Buick . Advantage of hybrid car?
